The trailer was for a comic series, featuring special ops agent John Knight. We wanted to video to feel like the author’s comic so we took images from the book, removed backgrounds, added sound FX like helicopters, explosions and use timed motion effects for movement. Since its an “end of the world” type story we wanted to music bed to have a cinematic-all-is-not-yet-lost vibe. The challenge was to condense the complex narrative into a visually engaging and concise format. The trailer was instrumental in boosting pre-orders, generating buzz across social media platforms and it was fun to make.
